Coach K

Krystal Cooper, hailing from Missouri City, TX, boasts over 15 years of competitive volleyball experience. Her journey began at Elkins High School, where she earned accolades such as Fort Bend Varsity Rookie of the Year, Offensive Player of the Year, and 1st Team All-District. Notably, she played a pivotal role in leading her team to the State Regional Final. 

Throughout her formative years, Krystal refined her skills in club volleyball with both the Willowbrook and Texas Tornados organizations. Her tenure with the Texas Tornados saw significant triumphs, including a silver medal at the Tampa Qualifier and a gold medal at the Tour of Texas qualifier, culminating in an appearance at the 2004 Junior Olympics.

Transitioning to collegiate level, Krystal secured a full athletic scholarship to North Carolina A&T State University. During her four-year tenure, she garnered recognition as Defensive Player of the Year in 2007, earned spots on the IUPUI All-Tournament Team and the Western Carolina All-Tournament Team. In 2009, she graduated from NC A&T State University with degrees in Accounting and Finance.

Drawing from her extensive coaching experience, including stints at a local community college, Krystal founded the Texas Regulators Volleyball Club. Fueled by her passion to elevate players' skills and volleyball IQ, she launched the club in 2014. Since its inception, Krystal has guided numerous athletes to collegiate success, fulfilling her mission to nurture talent and advance the sport.

Coach Gillian

Gillian Jones, a proud Texas Regulators Alumni, showcased her talent as a three-year Dulles varsity letterman. Her stellar performances earned her a string of accolades, including 2nd Team All-District in 2017, 1st Team All-District in 2018, and MVP in 2018. 

Following her impressive high school career, Gillian secured a full athletic scholarship to Grambling State University, where she continued to excel. Throughout her collegiate journey, she garnered numerous awards, including All-Conference Second Team in 2019, a spot on the FAU All-Tournament Team in 2019, and the prestigious title of Freshman of the Year in 2019. Her accolades extended into 2020 with recognitions such as Preseason All-SWAC Volleyball First Team and 2nd Team All-SWAC.
